  1. Well Grandad I don’t know what to say that you won’t already know!
You’re such a brave, strong man and you did us all proud the way you fought so hard!
It’s an honour to call you my grandad and to love you but it’s even more of an honour to have been loved by you! There was no feeling greater!
I miss you so so much and love you even more!
Fly high our Angle and enjoy your well deserved rest!
    Lots of love,
    Andrew, Lauren and Archie

  2. I know this is such a cliche, but you truly were the best grandad one could ask for. Looking back on all our memories in which a million small clips flash through my mind, not one of them sad or unhappy, not one of them daunting, just pure overwhelming joy.
You raised us to be brave; strong and independent go getters, because of you doing just that, I am where I am today.
I wish we could do one more late night walk through the apedale; one whole day on a bike ride, one more rock painting session at the table, and more than anything, one more cuddle on the sofa.
Over this last year you have only requested I do one thing, to take care of Koby, to never stop him exploring the outdoors, just like we did together, just like when you took him to explore where we once did. To allow him to continue his much loved arts and crafts and most of all, to help him flourish however I can. Without your guidance in my life, I wouldn’t be the parent I am today and I promise to always give him the help, love and support you gave to me.
I hope if I ever become a grandparent one day, that I am cherished as much as you are.
You can finally rest easy now, we will do as you always taught us to do and look out for one another as a family.
    Forever loved and cherished.
All our love Tone, Adam and Koby

  3. Granddad, where do I start… you are honestly one in a million and no one will ever compare to you. You taught us so much, like being polite, loving, caring, brave, adventurous, the list could honestly go on and on forever. You always pushed us to be the best versions of ourselves, witch made me who I am today.
No matter what was going on, if we needed you, you were there with no hesitation, we are so lucky to have a granddad like you! All the laughs we had, all the tears that fell, all the sleepovers we had, all the adventures, all the cuddles, all the play fights, all the times we sang, all the story’s you told, every single memory will be cherished forever. Now you rest, we’ll take it from here and continue to make you proud every single day! I love you forever and always gumgum 🤍🤍🤍

  4. Grandad, you truly are one in a million. The best father, grandad, and great grandad to us all! The greatest gift a family could ask for, forever and always in our hearts. We will always cherish the good times and hold on to the memories for a life time! We all miss you terribly but we know that you’ll always be with us! As Ava says, you’re the brightest star up in the sky at night, and you’ll always be watching over her and our family, and I have no doubt in my mind about it! Until we meet again grandad, fly high angel x x

  6. Dad, Where do I start. I could go for days here but your used to me rambling on about anything.

I am so proud to have you as my dad and so grateful for everything that you have done for me and the kids and for making me the person that I am today.

I have 47 years of so many amazing memories of you from all the holidays in Woolacombe and jumping off the cliffs into sand piles that you made for us and Thomas doing a disappearing act on the beach and you found him clip clopping up the path in the ladies shoes. After the initial shock and scare we all laughed are heads of about it. Then Alex who was walking along side the penguin or as the boys called them Pecker Noses cause it pecked Alex’s nose.

I will never forget the weekends that you gave up for us even after a long week at work taking us all over the country for our Judo.

I love and miss you so much and always will do. You have take a piece of me with you. Now is you time to relax and take it easy. This isn’t goodbye as I know I will see you again and I know that whatever I do you will always be with me

All my Love, hugs and kisses

  8. Thank you Grandad for everything that you have done for me and for making me the person I am today. Thank you for taking me to the Stoke matches I really miss going there with you. I sit here and laugh when I remember something good and funny about you or what we have done together like you encouraging me with swimming when I always used to scream and cry at the sight of a pool. I will always remeber when we always used to go on walks and big bike rides. I love how you always told me about where you work and all the trains you have been on.
Fly high Grandad, I miss you soo much. love you loads

  9. Tony was a great inspirational man who was always there to give advice and to support us as neighbours. My fondest memories has got to be New Years Eve parties at our house, the whole of the family would come around and Gareth would get Tony and the Twins drunk (it didn’t take much) but it was great to bring in new year with fantastic neighbours. Tony will be sadly missed by our whole family. Stella Gareth Tim and Josh 😢😢
