“Tears can heal, memories can comfort and love lives on forever.”

Peacefully at rest on Saturday 5th September, 2020 at the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, Brian aged 76 years of Wolstanton, the dearly loved and loving husband of Christine, the much loved and respected dad of Alistair and Julian, a loving father in law of Elizabeth and Louise, also a dearly loved and cherished grandad of Andrew, Benjamin, Jennifer and Christopher.

Brian, a generous man who would always help anyone who needed it, was community spirited especially when it came to his cricket family. He had a soft spot for the pub and the horses and he had a particularly gifted green thumb. Brian’s garden was a thing of beauty, he could lose hours to it, but more than anything he was a proud and devoted family man

Brian will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and many friends.

Due to the current restrictions a private funeral service will take place at Bradwell Crematorium on Tuesday 22nd September, 2020 at 12.40pm.

Flowers or if preferred donations in memory of Brian to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice c/o the funeral director.
