At rest on Tuesday 27th October, 2020 at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, Dave, aged 81 years of Trentham, the dearly loved and loving husband of Eileen, a much loved and respected dad of David, Karl, Tracy, Mandie and Brooke, a loving father in law of Dawn, Claire and Julie, also a dearly loved and treasured grandad of Poppy, Tiana, Harry, Gabrielle, Vincent, Slaine, Evan and Esme.

Dave, who won the English Boys Billiards title at the age of 16, became involved in snooker in the late 1970s. He was a true gentleman who was always willing to help anyone, he was just a fantastic guy. Dave will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and many friends.

Due to the current restrictions a private funeral service will take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Monday 16th November 2020 at 2:30pm.

The funeral cortège will be arriving at the Victoria Lounge Bar/The Reardon at approximately 1:45pm for people wishing to show their respects, there will also be a live webcast of the service for all log in details and password please contact the funeral director.

  3. A genuine gentleman. He will be sadly missed in person, but remains strong in our memories. The utmost condolences to those loved ones he looks and watches over and always will. He will continue to be in our thoughts. A very sad loss.
