How it works

At Kevin Lownds Funeral Services our focus is on giving a quality bespoke service.

How a funeral plan works is that you, with the help of us plan a funeral, with full knowledge of all the cost.

We help you with the plan so that you know what needs to be included and what options are available to you. We add all the components you would like, which gives a price, which you can adjust according to your needs, if necessary.

Planning Ahead

Then, the company we work with (Golden Charter) can offer a payment plan or you can pay them outright. We have examples of options for payment to show you. The funeral director does not receive any funding until the time of need (the time of the actual funeral). The Golden Charter keeps the funds invested until the time of need so that it grows throughout that time. The funeral directors’ costs are locked in at today’s prices and do not go up even if the funeral is 20 years from now.

The things that can increase in price are the cemetery fees eg, cost of cremation or purchase of a burial plot which is out of our control, but the investment by golden charter should help with this aspect.

Guiding you along the way

A payment plan can be over 1 - 20 years depending on the age of the person for whom the plan is being taken.

We can send you details if you like, or you can arrange a no obligation visit to discuss. That would either be us visiting you or you coming into our funeral home premises, whichever you prefer.
