Honouring Life
24 hour service
Over 30 years experience
Kevin has more than 30 years experience in supporting families, arranging and conducting funerals from all ethnic groups, both religious and non- religious.
He worked for a large corporate funeral directors for 25 years and had been hoping to open up an independent family run funeral home, so when he was made redundant it was the perfect chance.
Kevin knew he had the experience and years of knowledge, he conducted thousands of funerals over the years, but was looking forward to becoming an independent with nobody stood overhead limiting time and resources, becoming independent for Kevin was about giving the very best service he knew he could to families, he wanted to help families make a funeral unique because no two people are identical, so why should their funeral not be as individual as they were?
We understand that the loss of a loved one is the most painful experience a family member can go through, so we aim to facilitate any requests and deliver the funeral that loved ones want.
Taking extra care
We will give your loved one, you and your family an extremely high quality and individual service.
We offer a first class and professional service at all times and deliver that with the care people’s loved ones deserve. We stand next to any family who needs us to offer advice, guidance and support. We too are a family and hope to offer the same support we give to one another to those who choose to come to the Lownds family in their moment of need.
Because your requirements are of such importance to you, we are here to advise you personally in making arrangements which meet your individual needs, whether that is a traditional or an alternative funeral, with a horse drawn hearse, motorcycle hearse or a motor hearse.
We will ensure that each and every detail is discussed with you thoroughly, and will go the extra mile to ensure that the day is all you expect. We can facilitate all other requests, for example, flowers, order of service, catering, bereavement notices, memorial masonry and supply of specialised jewellery.
