Since Priory Primary, hand in hand,
Two little girls with dreams so grand.
Through playground laughs and childhood days,
You walked beside me, come what may.
We wandered Hanley, side by side,
With shopping bags and hearts of pride.
Trying dresses, sharing shoes,
Our chatter bright, our spirits loose.
Sleepovers filled with midnight snacks,
Giggles echoing through the cracks.
We whispered dreams till morning light,
Wrapped in warmth through every night.
Girls’ holidays with sun and sea,
No one knew me quite like she.
From cocktails sipped beneath the stars,
To dancing free in beachfront bars.
You stood with me in gown and grace,
My bridesmaid with the shining face.
Your steady smile calmed every fear,
Your love so strong, so always near.
You stayed so young, your light still glows,
In every heart that loves and knows.
No birthdays passed, no aging sign —
Just you, our Claire, forever 39.
In every breeze, you’re with me still,
In every heart, you always will.
A sister, soulmate, shining light,
Claire, you made the world more bright.
Condolences to her family.
Claire was always a beautiful lady, inside and out, always a smile and always helping everyone whenever they needed it.
I’ll always remember how sunny and how much fun she was.
She’ll be forever missed x
