Peacefully at rest on Thursday 27th August 2020 at The Royal Stoke University Hospital, Marie aged 72 years of Newcastle, the dearly loved and loving mum of Pauline and Chrissie, a dear mother in law of Richard and Mark, also a much loved grandmother of Hannah.
God saw you getting tired
God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be
So he put His arms around you
And whispered “Come to me.”With tearful eyes we watched you
As you slowly slipped away
And though we loved you dearly
We couldn’t make you stay.Your golden heart stopped beating
Your tired hands put to rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
Marie will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and many friends.
Due to the current restrictions a private funeral service will take place at Bradwell Crematorium on Wednesday 16th September 2020 at 12pm.
