Port Vale Striker
Peacefully at rest on Sunday 15th March 2020 at St.Mary’s Nursing Home in Stone, Mick aged 77 years formerly of Clayton, now reunited with his beloved wife Avis, the dearly loved and respected dad of Andrew and Laura, a loving father in law of Sally and Jon, also a dear brother of Robert and James.
Mick was a former Port Vale striker, he joined the Valiants in 1967 after being signed by Stanley Matthews, he made a total of 200 appearances scoring 25 times, he was a Port Vale promotion winner and popular forward.
Mick will be sadly missed by all his loving family and many friends.
Funeral service and cremation to take place at Bradwell Crematorium on Thursday 9th April 2020 at 10 am. Only close family members to attend due to the current social restrictions please. A memorial service will take place in memory of Mick later in the year.
Family flowers only please, donations would be gratefully received in memory of Mick to The British Heart Foundation or The Alzheimer’s Society.
