Peacefully at rest, on Saturday 12th July 2025, at home with his loving partner by his side, after a long illness fought with great courage and dignity, Damon aged 57 years of Rode Heath, the much loved and loving partner of Sharon and her family, the treasured son of Sandra and Michael, also a wonderful nephew, cousin and friend to many.

Damon will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family, friends and Arthur the dog.

Funeral service to take place at Bradwell Crematorium on Monday 28th July 2025 at 1:20pm

Will family please accept this intimation and would friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the crematorium.

Family flowers only please, donations would be preferred in memory of Damon to the British Liver Trust.

A donation box will be available on the day should anyone wish to leave a donation then.

    • Dear Mr and Mrs Grant and all of Damon’s family, Damon, what can I say!! He was a lovely man inside and out, Damon was very caring, understanding, funny, I never saw or knew him in any other way really❣️ I first met Damon through working on Johndon Brothers Imperial Pottery, then we met again through working on Alexandra Pottery, then a few year’s later we became Facebook friend’s. I am so glad we were in contact again, Damon was so well liked and loved by everyone❣️ Mr and Mrs Grant I am sorry for the loss of your precious son Damon, and for Damon’s partner and family too, my sincere condolances I send to you 🙏. I am sorry but I won’t be able to attend Damons service due to my mobility issuse. I am and will be and thinking of you all, love from Anne 🙏 xxx

    • To my lovely friend Damon, you were loving, caring, understanding, you put a smile on my face, you were beautiful inside and out, I never saw you any different really, you will always be special Damon❣️
      Damon and I worked at the same two places for a short while, Damon started after me ie on Johnson Brothers and on Alexandra Pottery. (during the 1980’s and 1990’s). For the last few year’s were have been Facebook friend’s, Damon was a lovely person to know, I will always miss him❣️
