  1. In loving memory of a dear friend, a truly kind and gentle man.

Memories of many years of wonderful, fun-filled, happy holidays in The Monastery, Capel y Ffin with Ted, Cath and family; long, cold, wet walks, canoeing down and often in the Wye, fantastic meals all together, boisterous evenings and also quiet and interesting discussions; keenly fought cricket matches – make no mistake though, there was an underlying competitive edge to Ted which we witnessed with great amusement at the annual cricket match – he played to win. Kind and generous hospitality in Stoke while visiting Keele, the potteries and Miranda and John’s wedding.

Ted you were loved and respected by us all and will be sorely missed. Rest in peace.

Our love and thoughts are with Cath, Miranda, Isobel and all their families now at this very sad time and always.

Philippa, Mike, Rebecca, Will, Abi, David and their families
