Peacefully at rest on Friday 5th December 2025, at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, with his loving family by his side, George, aged 77 years of Cobridge, the much-loved and loving husband of Sue, wonderful dad of Jo and her partner Shaun, treasured brother-in-law to Wendy, Kay, Geoff, Doreen and Arthur, dearly loved uncle of Abigail & Paul, Tracy & Paul, Stephen & Kate and his many other nieces and nephews, also a treasured friend to many.
George will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends.
Reunited with his much loved brothers and sisters.
Funeral service to take place at Carmountside crematorium on Monday 29th December 2025 at 11:30am.
Will family please accept this intimation and would friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the crematorium.
Family flowers only please, donations would be preferred in memory of George to UHNM – Critical Care or Ward 227. A donation box will be available on the day should anyone wish to make a donation then.
