“A great soul serves everyone all the time. A great soul never dies. It brings us together again and again.”

With deep sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of Sue on Sunday, March 10th, 2024, at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, surrounded by her devoted children and sister. Sue, aged 71 years, resided in Harpfields. She was the dearly beloved wife of the late Brian and a cherished companion of the late Glynn.

Sue was a much-loved mother to Lisa, Justin, Nicole, and Aimee, and a treasured nannie known affectionately as Nannie Sue to Luke, Emily, Chloe, Jack, Ty, Maddie, Nathan, Joshua, and Isabella. She also held the title of loving Great-nanny Sue to Mia. Sue leaves behind her sisters Jane and Janice, as well as her dearest friend Lesley. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by her loving family and numerous friends.

A funeral service and cremation will be held at Bradwell Crematorium on Tuesday, March 26th, 2024, at 2:00 pm. Relatives are kindly asked to accept this notice, and friends who wish to attend are requested to meet at the crematorium. For those unable to attend, a live stream of the service will be available; please contact the funeral directors for log-in details.

The family request that bright, colourful clothing be worn in memory of Sue, black attire not necessary. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Sue may be made to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
