Peacefully at rest on Wednesday 22nd January 2025 at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, Brian aged 88 years of Basford, the dearly loved and loving husband of Sylv, the much loved dad of Spencer and Sam and their partners Leanne and Samantha, treasured grandad of Leo, Jasmine and Thomas, a dearly loved uncle to Jill, Bernard, Mick, Jeanette, Maurice, Kenny and Heather, also a dearly loved and cherished great-uncle to Leon, Charlie, Alice, Steve, Kate, Nick, Tom, Kenny George, Gemma and Richard.

Brian will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and many friends.

Funeral service and cremation to take place at Bradwell Crematorium on Tuesday 4th February 2025 at 2pm.

Albina Straka

“There is a sacredness in tears. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the messengers of unspeakable love.”

Albina passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and the staff at Lawton Rise Care Home, Goldenhill, on Monday 20th January 2025.

Albina aged 101 years of Madeley now reunited with her beloved husband Edward and son John, was the dearly loved mum of Renata and much loved nana to Vicky, Michelle and Michael.

Albina will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and friends.

Fortified by the rites of the Holy Catholic Church R.I.P on whose soul sweet Jesus have mercy.

Funeral Service and cremation to take place at Bradwell Crematorium on Friday 28th February 2025 at 2.00pm.

Peacefully at rest on Saturday 18th January 2025 at The Douglas MacMillan Hospice in the presence and loving care of her devoted husband, Sheila aged 82 years of May Bank the dearly loved and loving wife of Idris, the much loved and treasured mum of Richard and Steve, a dear mother in law to Mandy, a dearly loved and cherished nan to Daniel, a loving sister to Gwen and the late Trevor and Gwilym, a dear sister in law to Ann, John, Pat and the late Geoff, Carol and Archie also an adored aunty to Rick, Christopher and Rachel and a dear great aunty. Sheila will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and many friends.

Funeral service to take place at St.Mark’s Church, Basford Park Road, Basford ST5 0PG on Friday 7th February 2025 at 12.15pm prior to cremation at Bradwell Crematorium.

Comedian, impressionist, singer and all-round entertainer.

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden, unexpected and untimely passing of our beautiful Kerry Wilson aged 56 years of Trentham, on Friday 3rd January 2025 with her loving family and partner by her side.

Kerry was the precious daughter of Linda and Russ, cherished partner of Gina, a loving sister to Kate, Rachel and the late Adam. She was a treasured aunty who was devoted to and adored by her nieces and nephews and a good loyal friend to many.

Kerry will be deeply missed but always fondly remembered by all her family, her numerous friends and everyone who knew her. She touched the lives of so many people in so many ways.

We will be having a celebration of Kerry’s wonderful life at The Old Chapel, Etruria Road ST1 5PE on Wednesday 5th February 2025 at 1.00pm followed by a private family cremation.

All who loved Kerry are welcome to come along as we celebrate her amazing life.
