Chi My Bernard Tran

“In loving memory of Chi My Bernard Tran – Rest In Peace

🕯 27th April 2021 🕯”

Mủ Đỏ Trần Chí Mỹ UK. Cựu Đại Ủy, Đại Đội Trưởng Đại Đội 4 Trinh Sát Nhảy Dù. Dã nhảy saut cuối trình diện Đích Thân Lê Lợi ngày 27 tháng Tư nam 2021.

It is a sad day for our family and Dad’s extended families and friends on 27 April 2021. Dad was always decisive in whatever he wanted to do in life and he was the same in his exit.

While Dad was alive, he touched so many people in one way or another and have in some ways, big or small, made an impact in their lives. Dad’s sacrifice and ability to take risks in order to give himself, his wife, his children, his sisters, his nephews and his niece a better life here in the United Kingdom (UK) will always be remembered with grateful hearts.

UK was Dad’s country of choice. Dad said he was given the option of going to UK or USA, he chose UK and for that we are eternally blessed. UK has always been extremely good to our family and have given all of us and our next generations opportunities in life that we would not have had otherwise.

Dad’s extended families and friends know multiple sides of him and we his family know multiple sides of him. Dad is a multi-faceted person, a good man. His sense of duty, his sense of family and his sense of social and community responsibilities were very strong.

Dad was very happy here in his adopted country, United Kingdom. But he still missed his country, Vietnam, and his parents very much until he passed away. The way Dad passed away was a great blessing to him and his family. Dad went very quickly after the diagnosis of his illness. Dad went very peacefully, without any pain, with dignity, with the best of medical care from the specialists and staff at Royal Stokes University Hospital. And despite Covid-19 restrictions, Dad’s final blessing on this Earth was his ability to go with his family, his relatives and his closest friends at his bedside.

Personally, I would like to think Dad’s parents, our grandparents, tapped him on his shoulders on 27 April 2021 once the diagnose was given, and told him “Enough now son, let’s get you Home” and like a dutiful son he went Home with them.

Now, with Kevin Lownds’ and Bradwell Crematorium’s help, Dad will continue to get the best care until his body return Home on 14 May 2021. I hope that by giving you this opportunity to leave your own messages to our Dad, you will be comforted in some way.

We have also arranged for an Open Casket viewing at the Chapel of Rest on 13 May 2021 for those family members and close friends who want to say goodbye personally and be physically in his presence. Due to the current Covid-19 situation only family and close friends are able to visit our Dad. Please send your enquiries to [email protected] to make arrangements.

From our hearts to yours, thank you for your love and support of our Dad in his life and death. God Bless, stay safe, be kind to yourself and each other.

Thank you.

Baby William Charles Knapper

“There is no footprint too small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world.”

Born sleeping on 21st March 2021, a moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts. William was loved by all his family, especially by Mum Lucy and Dad Jon.

Little Butterfly

I lived my life inside you,
Cocooned in all your love,
So mama, papa, please don’t cry,
I’m still with you, just up above.

I felt your every heartbeat,
It’s my sweetest melody,
And for every heavenly bedtime,
The Angels play it back to me.

I know how much I am wanted,
I feel so very blessed,
Of all the parents in all the world,
I got the very best!

You think of me in your waking hours,
And on those sleepless nights,
Just look out the window and you’ll find me,
The brightest star, the most dazzling light.

I’m that little breeze in summer,
I’m that unexpected white feather,
I plucked it from my downy wings,
So that you remember we’re always together.

I know how much it hurt your soul,
When we had to say goodbye,
But I’m not gone, I’m always here,
I’m your sweet little butterfly.
