Peacefully at rest on Monday 20th October 2025, Dorothy aged 82 years formerly of Sneyd Green.

The dearly loved mum of Stephen, Crystal, Alison and the late Steven, a much loved and treasured nan of Stacy, Nicky, Tony, Lee, Summer, Paul and Danielle also a dearly loved and cherished great nan. Dorothy will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and friends.

Funeral service and cremation to take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Monday 10th November 2025 at 9.30am. Would friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the Crematorium.

Of your Charity please pray for the repose of the soul of Joy who passed away peacefully on Thursday 16th October 2025 at Alison House Care Home, Basford, Joy aged 75 years formerly of Bradwell, the dearly loved and treasured mum of Dominic, Allison and Louise, a dear mother in law of Mark and Matthew, a much loved and cherished grandma to Ellie – Marie, Katie, Mollianne and Lucy, a loving sister of Mary and Lilian also a dear sister in law to Barry and Tony. Joy will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and many friends R.I.P.

Requiem Mass to take place at St. Wulstan Roman Catholic Church, Wolstanton at 12pm on Wednesday 12th November 2025, prior to cremation at Bradwell Crematorium. Would friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the Church.

The family have kindly asked that all mourners attending the Mass wear a touch of pink.

Alderman Joseph ‘Harry’ Matthews

Suddenly but peacefully at rest on Monday 22nd September 2025 at the Haywood Hospital with his devoted and loving wife by his side, Harry, aged 83 years of Stableford, formerly Madeley, the dearest and much-loved husband of Linda Mary, dearly loved and respected dad, stepdad and father-in-law, treasured grandad and great grandad and respected friend to many.

Harry, an incredibly special man, will be forever missed and always in our hearts.

James ‘Barrie’ Latham

At rest on Thursday 18th September 2025 at the Royal Stoke University Hospital after a short illness fought with great courage and dignity, Barrie aged 88 years of Baldwins Gate, the dearly loved husband of Pat, who wishes to express her deep love and gratitude for a lifetime shared with Barrie, her devoted husband, best friend, and the love of her life. His kindness, humour, and unwavering support will remain in her heart forever.

Barrie was the much-loved and deeply respected dad of Andrew and his wife Amy, and Sean and his wife Tracey; a dearly loved and treasured grandad to Kieran, Joshua, Hannah, Marcus, Nicole and Indy; a cherished great-grandad to Evelyn; a loving brother to Derek and his wife Pam; and a proud brother-in-law and uncle to the wider family. Barrie will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and many friends.

Funeral service to take place at The Parish Church of St. Mary & All Saints, Whitmore on Thursday 9th October 2025 at 11.30am prior to interment in the Churchyard. Would friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the Church.
