Peacefully at rest on Friday 8th January 2021 at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, Roy aged 87 years of Madeley, the dearly loved and loving husband of Doreen, the much loved and treasured dad of Lynn, Karen and Claire, a dear father in law of Mark, Darren and Enzo, a dearly loved and cherished grandad (Grandy) of Luca, Enrico, Louise, Matt, Jack, Harry, Melanie and Leigh, a loved and treasured great grandad (Great Grandy) of Albie and Reuben, also a loving brother, brother in law and uncle. Roy will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and many friends.

Due to the current restrictions a private funeral service will take place at Bradwell Crematorium on Monday 25th January 2021 at 9.20am. There will be a live webcast of the service, for log in details and password please contact the funeral director.

Joan Kirkham

“Those we love and lose are always connected by heartstrings into infinity.”

At rest on Sunday 3rd January 2021 at Springbank Nursing Home, Joan, aged 82 years of Halmerend, the dearly loved and loving wife of the late Harry, a much loved and treasured mum of Paul, Sharon and Carl, a dear mother in law of Rachel, a dearly loved and cherished grandma of Brandon, Ellie, Stephen, Tamara, Kimberly, James, Cole and the late Jake, a loving sister of Tommy, Eidie, Margaret, Billy and the late Ann.

Joan was a firm but fair mother, always there to help when you needed her, she would let you know she loved you in her own way, she has been longing to be reunited with her soul mate Harry, they will be dancing together again, this time amongst the stars. Joan will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and many friends.

Due to the current restrictions a private funeral service will take place at Bradwell Crematorium on Wednesday 20th January 2021 at 3:20pm.

At rest on Monday 28th December 2020 at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, Roy, aged 70 years of Silverdale, the dearly loved and loving husband of Christine, a much loved and treasured dad of Deborah and Jason, a dear father in law of Craig and Jenny, a dearly loved and cherished grandad of Daniel, Matthew and Thomas, a loving brother of Sam and Billy also a dear brother in law of Kathleen.

Roy will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and many friends.

Kenneth Webb (Ken)

“Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes because for those who love with heart and soul, there is no separation.”

At rest on Thursday 17th December 2020, at Doddlespool Hall Care Home, Crewe, Ken aged 87 years formerly of Clayton, the much loved and devoted husband of the late Betty, dearly loved and cherished dad of Julie and Sue and a loving grandad to Jennie. Their “hero”, Ken, loved his family with a passion and will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by them all and his many friends.

Ken and Bett were a team, you couldn’t imagine him without her, all they ever wanted was each other. They are now reunited; back together to continue their love story in a more peaceful place.

David Henry Ratcliffe (Dave/Pomps)

“The loss is immeasurable but so is the love left behind.”

With heartfelt sadness, Andrea, Carl and Mark wish to announce the graceful and peaceful passing of our wonderful and inspirational Dad whilst in our loving arms on 3rd December. Dave is now reunited with his loving wife Pat (Sweet P).

His life of 80 years was filled with love, happiness and special memories. To his precious grandchildren, Jade, Jessamyn, Katie, Annie, Thomas, Lucy and great grandson Rome, he was the most adored and loving Pomps. A treasured brother always to Sue and the late Pat, a cherished father in law, uncle, brother in law and a true friend to so many people.

Died suddenly on 30th November.

Jas was the much loved son of Surjit Kaur and Jagat Singh, brother to Inderjit, Sunder and Sandra and uncle to Tish, Kimran, Kirran and Simran, and a good friend to many.

Jas did everything he could to look after his mum and dad, working hard all his life to build them a lovely home.

All those that knew him will remember him for his laughter and generosity and his care for others.

He will be missed.
