Peacefully at rest on Wednesday 1st May 2024 at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, Lyndsey aged 45 years of Oakhill, now reunited with her beloved mum and dad Patricia and Alan Shaw, the dearly loved and treasured mum of Isla and Lexi, also a dear partner of Rob.

Lyndsey will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and many friends.

Funeral Service and cremation to take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Tuesday 21st May 2024 at 1.30pm.

Peacefully at rest on Tuesday 23rd April 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving and devoted family, Margaret aged 83 years of Etruria, now reunited with her beloved husband Ken, the dearly loved and treasured mum of David and Paula, a loving mother in law of Sharon and Paul, a much loved and cherished nan to Ben, Adam, Kimberley, Tom, Laura Nick and Toni. Also, a dearly loved great nan to Dexter, Ada & Mia.

Margaret will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and friends.

Funeral Service and cremation to take place at Bradwell Crematorium on Monday 13th May 2024 at 1.20pm.

Malcolm Lindsay Rushton ‘Malc’

Suddenly on Saturday 30th March 2024 at the A&E, Royal Stoke University Hospital, Malcolm, aged 76 years of Trentham, the cherished and devoted husband of Glennis, the much loved and treasured dad of Matthew and Lyndsay, a dear and respected father in law of Elizabeth and Jamie, the dearly loved, cherished and treasured grandpa/grandad of William, Thomas and Joshua. Malcolm will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all his loving family and many friends.

Malcolm spent his entire teaching career at Alexandra Junior School, Normacot; he had a long standing association with Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire School’s FA & the for the last 25 years Stoke-on-Trent Repertory Theatre.

Funeral Service to take place at St.Peter ad Vincula Church (Stoke Minster) Glebe Street Stoke on Wednesday 1st May 2024 at 1.00pm prior to cremation at Carmountside Crematorium.

Sue Corbishley

“A great soul serves everyone all the time. A great soul never dies. It brings us together again and again.”

With deep sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of Sue on Sunday, March 10th, 2024, at the Royal Stoke University Hospital, surrounded by her devoted children and sister. Sue, aged 71 years, resided in Harpfields. She was the dearly beloved wife of the late Brian and a cherished companion of the late Glynn.

Sue was a much-loved mother to Lisa, Justin, Nicole, and Aimee, and a treasured nannie known affectionately as Nannie Sue to Luke, Emily, Chloe, Jack, Ty, Maddie, Nathan, Joshua, and Isabella. She also held the title of loving Great-nanny Sue to Mia. Sue leaves behind her sisters Jane and Janice, as well as her dearest friend Lesley. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by her loving family and numerous friends.

A funeral service and cremation will be held at Bradwell Crematorium on Tuesday, March 26th, 2024, at 2:00 pm. Relatives are kindly asked to accept this notice, and friends who wish to attend are requested to meet at the crematorium. For those unable to attend, a live stream of the service will be available; please contact the funeral directors for log-in details.

The family request that bright, colourful clothing be worn in memory of Sue, black attire not necessary. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Sue may be made to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
